n-pass in XviD

Hi guys , I have probably stupied question :) -
How to make n-passes with XviD (more then 2)?

I encoded before only with DivX and now think to give XviD a try, so what I should do ? Just select the 2nd pass few times ?
I just want to be sure the prev. passes results are used and updated.

Xvid doesn't have n-pass option, and i don't think it's necessary, even 2-pass can give optimal result if properly set. I suppose divx has n-pass option only because its 2-pass rate-control is not tweakable enough.

Maybe DivX has nth pass because of EKG.

Ok guys, thanks for your reply , I was just used to do 3 passes with DivX... :)
