final size desired 588.000, 352x240

first pass 2,30 hours
second pass 3,20 hours

**********************************
Other movie with exactly same configuration codec

2,01.0 minutes (just 4 minutes more)

source VCD 1.241.000 Mb 320x240 with no audio

maybe the content of the movies are too different - first is extremly low-motion, second is hi-mo mostly... i dunno...
or maybe some programs runs in the background - antivirus or defragmentation software... check this out!

btw, source was vcd or vcd from hdd? in first case, maybe the disk is scratched...

Was similar king of movie (not low not fast), just a little bit difference...

I normaly never use to encode from disk (cd rom) but from HD only

it was a VCD source.

goddamn... it's too strange...
and what about antiviral or defragmentation software? maybe that's the cause...
