Frameserving Problems

I read the Doom9 frameserving guide, but I am still confused as to what I am supposed to do. I installed the framehandler and added the "PROXYON" to my registry. I opened the .AVI in virtualdub, and started the frameserver. Now, I am unsure what I am supposed to do next. I need this to fix corrupt frames. I left the frameserver open while I encoded the same AVI in CCE 2.50, but it did nothing. Any suggestions?

When your frameserver is running, you allready have given it a name,
this is a vdr file, you have to use this file instead of the avi file you would normally use..
