I'm working together with Wilbert and jernst on the script editor and thought it would be a good idea to use a mailing list for communication. I didn't use mailing lists so far so I'm wonderung if this is a good idea. Maybe it could be useful to all AviSynth contributors, I see many open source projects using it

Before Doom9, Avisynth was developed via a mailing list at Yahoo. Needless to say, I like the new way better.

If you want to set up more private mailing lists, though, go ahead. It's certainly better than trying to forward PM's all over the place. I have software on the avisynth.org server that can administer this if necessary.
