Hi,
i've started to use ac3 machine to encode some ac3 files for
example from 448kb to 384kb!
I've noticed that the function"Autofind max gain" is not really good!
Is there a way to obtain the same gain level of the original ac3 file?

Note that AC3 encoding is no longer supported in BeSweet's latest versions due to the bugginess of Ac3Enc. One of the known issues mentioned in the BeSweet FAQ (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=164133#post164133) is that AC3enc produces low volume streams. However, you won't get any help without a logfile. :logfile:

But,
i dont know how it's useful a log file!
My problem,as you said,is that ac3enc produces low level file!
So,now my question is:
Is there another way to convert ac3 448kb to 320kb preserving
a right audio level?

Yes, use a commercial Dolby AC3 encoder such as the Acid Plugin or Surcode. This is all mentioned in the AC3 FAQ (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68300#post424067).
Your logfile is helpful so that we can determine whether there is anything you can do to improve your volume problems.

Thnks,
in this minutes i've read something about reencoding using a standalone 5.1 encoder!
I've seen it's a lot of time that ac3enc project is stopped!
No new versions for the future?

Hard to say. The ac3 encoder is from the FFMpeg project, and they don't seem to have much interest in updating or improving the encoder.
