DVD X copy Xpress problem...immediate finalizing!!

I'm trying to help a friend that is having a problem with ver 3.2.1 of Xpress....When trying to backup a movie it reads the original fine then when trying to burn it immediatly finalizes it creating a coaster:confused: It just recently started this as it always worked fine before. What's really confusing is it works with a dvd-rw and a dvd-r but the +r gives problems. He's using Memorex media which always....till now worked great.

Any help would be appreciated


Oh and his burner is a dual format sony 4x

Not trying to be a smart a@@ here, but if you really want to help your friend, introduce him/her to DVDShrink 3.1.1 :)

If I had any current knowledge of DXCX (I own it but stopped using it when DVDShrink 2.3 came out) I would probably still make the same recommendation.

Yeah, I figured the old shrink would come up sooner or later:) but he likes the one click fast solution that xcopy offers.

Your friend has the same trouble that sent myself along with many others searching for something nearly as easy with consistantly good results. I found it. Wish I was able to help, have you tried 321 Forums? Others trying to fight through same problems might be posting there.

Thanks, it seems like that's the same problem he's having and apparently it's the version he's using. I'll let him know.
