Hej!
I wonder if you have a burned DVD, which you have created with DVDshrink and later you want another copy of the disc, but you dont have the original.
Do I have to load the copy into DVDshrink and then encode it or can I just use fx. Nero copy DVD on the fly and still get the menues etc?
I know that it wont work with af original DVD, but will it work with a copy?
Thanks.

I've done it and it turned out fine, however I don't recommend burning OTF. It's too easy to make a coaster ;)

as long as the dvd is decrypted already with something like dvdshrink it is no problem.
I burn on the fly at 4x all the time and it works fine.
But then again, I have a 3200+ Athlon with 1024 of Ram.
On a slower computer you might be bouncing off the buffer alot, but most burners are burn proof, so it shouldn't cause coasters.

I have a P4 2,4Ghz 512mb PC2700 ram. Is that enough?
Another question is that I have a MSI DR-4A DVD-burner but it will only allow me to burn with the max speed 2,4. I have updated firmware to the newest version and I have tried with several differents media (DVD+R) types, but still it will only allow me to burn with 2,4x.
Does anyone know whats wrong?

To be sure, make first an image on your Hard Drive and burn the image on your DVD. Your 2,4 is media problem I think. I had the same with 4x Ritek. My burner wanted to burn them only in 2,4. But the problem doesn't occur with Philips media.

What is that?
I have tried to burn on Prodeye 4x og Professional 4x from Nierle.de.
I have just tried to burn on the fly but it crashed, so to be sure I make an image first. Its a bit too expensive if every second media crashes.

In looking at your Device Mananger (hardware) in Windows, expand your IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers section. Right click on the Secondary IDE Channel; click 'Properties', then the 'Advanced' tab. You'll what mode your devices are listed in. PIO is slow and more of a failsafe mode for newer machines. If you can, put 'DMA if available'. Then reboot. If your devices were really in PIO, you'll notice one hell of a difference! Check the same for your Primary channel.

Sorry about to say you but Bad quality. Try on something well known like Philips or Verbatim.
