Hi @ all!

I have a small problem:

I have a movie(mpg)with 2 audio streams, but I canīt switch between them. PowerDVD displays the 2 audio streams but if I choose the other stream nothing happens. With BSPlayer v1 b803 does not display any streams. If I use graphedit and choose the filters myself I can switsch the audio streams.

Default renderer is the ligos mpeg splitter+audio/video decoder with morgan stream switcher.

I think the problem is caused by wrong filters/codecs installed but I have no ideas what to do.

thx

Hmpf - I uninstalled codecs and players and reinstalled them. Now I canīt use graphedit (canīt find all filters).

Then I tried to remove the morgan stream switcher (found this in the forum) but now I canīt open the movie anymore using bsplayer/mpc/wmp! Only pdvd can play the mpg but still canīt switch audio stream...

looks like you screwed your system :) What you could to is to boot using your Win2k/XP CD, and start like an install, but ask repair when the install find windows.

but: I'm not responsible for any dommage you could do.

hmpf - reinstalling/repairing windows is surely NOT the solution I want :) Is there a way to remove the filter - how do I find out which files belongs to which filter and how to unregister? (I would like to unregister the ligos filters)

Me again!

I managed it myself: I used a little tool (itīs free) from softella to unregister the filters, itīs called "DirectShow Filter Manager" ( use google with "softella directshow filter manager" to find it :)

After unregistering the ligos filters and morgan streamswitcher I installed the elecard filter using a codec pack (k-lite), now everything works fine.
