realtime AC3 capture

I did not really think that capturing mpeg-2 video with AC3 audio was possible until I tried capturing with the new Nero. I use ATI AIW 9700 Pro card with MMC to capture. I capture my favorite tv shows to archive onto DVD-R and would rather have them with AC3 for better compatibility, however Nero needs user input. MMC from ATI uses a scheduler, so I can set it and forget it. I capture about 4-7 hours of video per day and would like to know of (If any) program captures with AC3 and has scheduling capabilities.

I hope there is one...
