I have been using DVD X Copy Platinum to back up my DVDs and I now get a CSS error with all DVD players installed on my laptop.
One program (interactual) referes to the decoder that it was using as being in the DVD X Copy directory. I renamed the DVD X Copy file temporarily hoping the programs whould go else where for a decoder, which they did. MS media player and intervideo still did not work, but the interactual program did, but with choppy resutls. I reinstalled the interactual program, and renamed the DVD X Copy back and had the same problem.
It appears that I may have to uninstall the DVD X copy program?
Any ideas on how to tell MS media player and intervideo to use different .ax files to prevent the CSS errors? Download spots for these files, if needed, please.
Any ideas?

My daughter was watching a DVD back up and it took a LONG while to load. Then she later was done watching the video and decided to TURN OFF the computer (by holding the off button down) this did a focre shutdown.
I had not actually watched any DVDs on the laptop after installing the DVD X Copy so I am not sure if this is part of the root cause.
