Lord of the Rings TTT: XVID to Divx 4

I have the Lord of the Rings TTT on my hard drive in XViD format which is fine for me but not my MP3/Video player. When I convert the XViD to DivX 4, the same spot has an error with video delay each time on every program I use. How can I avoid this?

First what this has to do with XviD? If you really want to encode it with DivX 4 just do it again from dvd. If you don't have original dvd this is wrong place to ask help.
