View Full Version : How do I make DVD Shrink output an Image File?

I read an ealier post that someone was able to directly make an image out of the files that DVD Shrink creates. That would save me about 20 minutes so that I wouldn't have to use IMG_TOOL Classic. I heard the format is in .NRG format. Does this cause any problems, or should I stick to IMG_TOOL Classic and also do a Get VTS Sectors?

What would be even better is if DVDSHRINK could implement Coujo's IMG_TOOL Classic as the image recorder.

.nrg is fine just choose 'Image Recorder' then either use Nero or DVDDecrypter to burn that image.

this is just like imgtool classic but starts automatically after dvdshrink is done transcoding the video files.

Thanks for your response.

Is there any advantage of using DVD DECYRPTER over Nero (other than the cost)? I heard that if you burn the output of DVD Shrink Beta 5 with Nero it can result in less compatible DVDs. Is the same with the Nero image file? My gut tells me to stick with the ISO format.
