I am looking at the Asus PCI TV/FM Tuner Capture Card or the Leadtek TV2000XP DELUXE capture card. Both are around 50 to 55 dollars on NewEgg. Are there any differences between these cards? Which one would be better?
Thanks for any help

Leadtek uses Bt878 chip, while ASUS uses newer Philips one.
Newer chip offers better quality, but you will have less software, because Bt8x8 is still best supported. Leadtek has beside it better software suplied with card.

How big of a quality difference are we talking about? I would mainly use this to record a few TV programs and put them on DVD. I use 352X480 res for my TV captured DVD's.

Very little. By good video quality it's practically same. Some better handling of noisy signal.
