Now i not sure if this is the correct section to ask this but..

OK, i have a dvd backup that needs to be fixed kind of.Now there should be a full and wide version of the film on the disc, but the full version was removed by deleting the vobs and ifos for vts 4.Now how can i recreate a dummy vob,ifo and bup to go in place of vts 4 so i can keep the original disc's structure. ??

Also i need to do something to the video_ts as it still says whats in vts4, as it was'nt stripped as such.

Looks like you're stuck there - if you lost the VTS_04_0.IFO you don't know how many important commands were in there or if theres more than one VOBid.
Best to start again I'd say...

VTS 4 is the same as VTS 5 except 4 is FS, 5 is WS.

What if i copyed all the files to my hdd, but i also copyed vts 5 to a second folder and renamed it to vts 4, then copy it and past it in to the main folder, then using ifo edit strip all the streams and the vob id from vts 4, would this restore the file structure of the dvd as vts 4 and 5 are the same except vts4 was FS ?? Just now it would have a empty vts set.

Well if you're sure they are the same - give it a go (after backing up of course)

It should be enough when you just copy+remane the .ifo & .bup of vts_5 to vts_4, then get sectors. no vobs.
