Dear Friend,

Since long time we are doing Interactive VCDS.In all movies there is a common format-We use Video Pack-4 for Authoring.
1-Company Logo-MPEG1 File - Moving video from Beta tape
2-Warning-TGA file - 8 second wait-720x576 24Bit in Photoshop
3-Declaration-TGA file - 8 seconds wait 720x576 24Bit
4-Companys Addresse-TGA File - 8 seconds wait 720x576 24Bit
5-Main Menu-TGA File - 30 seconds wait 720x576 24Bit
6-Movie-MPEG File - Moving Video from Beta Tape
7-End of Disc-TGA File-720x576 24Bit

All this years we used to check all our movies in Panasonic Portable Player-SL-VP-30 and Pioneer DVD Player 505.All movies are working fine in this two players.

Recently we bought 2 Pioneer DVD players 266 & 655.When i Put this VCD in this Player, first company logo plays properly and when TGA starts playing they run fast.Sometimes they play twice.Sometimes they reach the Main menu and movie starts automaticaly without selecting Movie option. Some times Logo Plays then TGA runs fast without waiting the Menu selects aotomaticaly but no Movies is seen but straight End of Dics.

And the same Dics works properly in my old players.

Kindly take out some time and Help.

Those features are probably not supported properly with your new dvd players. Not all players are the same. One might allow for one feature where another doesn't, but it supports a feature the first one can't. You have to experiment on what can play what. That's why it's probably a good idea to make your vcds as general as it can be if you are going to play on more than one dvd player.
