Just wondering if the spec for the new Dual Layer DVD+R media says that they must be backwardly compatible with all existing DVD readers and burners. Further, will existing standalone DVD Players read the discs? Will there likely be any any issues with longevity since the two layers must be bound (glued) together, with possible oxidation coming into play?
I imagine QC will also be a nightmare, and this will be one area where it will NOT pay to buy the cheap media!
Thanks for any answers / insight / comments,
