I've created a project in Maestro with an intro (first play) which has a button link leading to a movie select menu for 3 movies. All three movies each have chapters and subtitles. How do I get the movies to return to the movie selection menu after they've finished playing? What I had previously done was to select the end action of each movies last chapter and set it to target the movie select menu, but after burning to DVD, the movies jump to the intro instead of the menu after they finished. What am I doing wrong?

Also, are there any in-depth guides to DVDMaestro's Command Sequences function?

Thanks,

This is interesting. It should have returned to the specified menu instead of the intro.

Have u used any command sequences?
Did you play it in a standalone or in PowerDVD?

Hi Oddyseus

No, the playback on the standalone is the problem. Before I burnt to disc, I played the files on the hard-drive in PowerDVD, and all played as was intended.

I've not played around with the Command Sequence functions as I wouldn't know what I was doing in it.

Thanks,

Since PowerDVD is acting as intended, one can assume that the jump command is sent as it should. The problem must, therefore lay on the standalone.

I know, from my own standalones, that some models don't confront to the specs 100%. As an example I can say that the Philips 904 can't follow command sequences if they are of complex structure, whereas the 723 doesn?t have any problem executing them. The example reffers to the same command sequences from the same disk.

Your problem however doesn't lay on command sequences, yet. It is all about jumping to the right menu. Since the jump actually occurs makes me think that it may be possible that it is jumping in the 1st menu of the structure? Is this the case?

Can u email me the ifo so that I can take a look at it and discuss things further?
