View Full Version : Weird ISO read problem

I have a pretty strange problem. First the DVD rom in question is a Pioneer 120 16X rom. When using DVD Decrypter in ISO read mode to burn an image, I am getting some audio tracks that are bad. Now when I say bad they report to be exactly the correct size, but when imported into Scenarist they are not the proper length. Also when I try to run them through BeSweet it reports that they are damaged.

I thought at first that something was going wrong with the mounting of the image so I changed DVD Decrypter into IFO mode and selected the audio tracks for demuxing. Same outcome. I took the same disk and put it into my pioneer 106D burner with the exact same settings and boom all the audio tracks were correct. I also switched it back to ISO read mode and and ripped the disk again with the 106D, after mounting the iso and ripping the audio, again they were fixed.

Bottem line is that my 102 seems to not like to rip audio with DVD Decrypter, at least not consistantly. So far I have not seen any problems with the video streams or the subtitle streams.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
