IT filter error ?

The IT.dll filter for avisynth seems to only like to do groups of 6000 (or around that #) frames at a time when IVTCing. Perhaps I am doing something wrong but this tends to be a big pain to get a large file to IT. I know how to do this process pretty easy from DVDs but unfortunately I am working from BetaSP tapes and the like...so the material which is more often than not film, is very hard to IT since I cannot seem to find one that works effectively on all frames (unless I manually input patterns which takes forever in itself). Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

IT.dll only works well when the source was really originally FILM. It doesn't do too well on hybrid sources like yours. I recommend you use a filter which handle hybrid sources like SmartDecimate() or Telecide()

i should have actually worded that a little better...I meant to say that most of my sources ARE film. But duly noted nontheless. I still think that it is an annoying bug that after 6000 frames the next frames are all just repeats of frame 6000 :(

Oh, you didn't mention that a frame keep repeating! Or maybe I misread your first post, but anyway IT.dll is not suppose to do that.
