I am using DVD2SVCD to convert Divx files to dvd mpegs. I converted 3 files so far, and the new file is 2 seconds shorter than the original file. This is true for all 3 files. The audio sync is fine, but my subtitles dont sync to the audio.

Anyone know why i lost 2 seconds on the output file? Is there a setting im missing that?

I dont think that thread pertains to my problem. My audio/video is in sync. The problem is, my subtitles arent in sync, since the video somehow changed. Any ideas?

If these two seconds are removed from the beginning of the video, it’s not a “problem” of CCE, but bbMPEG. Go to the bbMPEG tab in DVD2SVCD, and set “Movie offset” from 2 to 0 …

The bbMPEG tab doesnt show up when DVD output is selected.

Sorry, I didn’t mention that… :(
Maybe it’s worth trying the suggestion of this thread (if you didn’t yet):

Furthermore I don’t have any solutions (except manual re-encoding ;) )
