Hello, i'm trying to encode Initial d volume 1 (tokyopop version).
i'm getting completely frustrated by the way this dvd is interlaced.
I just don't know how to treat this dvd. Is it a hybrid combination of 24 and 30 fps, or just very badly interlaced/teleclined 30fps? Whatever i try i can't get rid of jerky motion in general and ghosting at some places. I have seen episode 1 encoded by a few anime groups and neither of them did it the right way imho. I'm starting to doubt if there actualy is a right way for this anime since it doesn't get much better if i play the original dvd. In any case, if you got some advise for me how to handle this one please leave a note.
greets,
