I capture using HuffyYUV. Each time I've gotten the codec has been as part of the codec pack provided by doom9. I've had issues though when trying to play a captured AVI on another machine with HuffyYUV also installed.
For instance, on my computer I had an AVI captured using Huffy. I was going to test out the encoding speed on my buddies new computer so I d/l the codec pack, installed everything including Huffy...but when I go to view or open my AVI on his machine it's all red lines. Can't even hardly see the image if at all. I never cared too much about it...however...
I've just done a clean install on my own machine. I've installed the codec pack again from doom9 and everything is great except for the problem with Huffy. I've got some captures from before I did my clean install (different partition) and now I can't play them or open them in any editing program. All red lines!!! Looks like bad satellite connection or something like that.
Anybody had this problem before??? I'm desperate for a fix.
