I've burned almost 20 DVD's that all skip or freeze throughout the movie. I use Memorex DVD+R on a Poloroid dual format burner.
Using:DVD Decrypter in File mode
DVD Shrink for main movie only
Nero6 to burn
System: Pent. III 756
256 Mem.
80 G;7200rpm hard drive
Windows XP os
Help! Please.

Using this link, http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdwriters, I checked for your burner's media compatibility. The only Polaroid models listed were the DVR-0800, and the PDRW-4D-IN. If either of these are your model, it looks as if the media choices that are compatible are a slim few. Check with the manufacurer on media brands that are known to work with this unit. Run a forum search on "Polaroid", you might get some hits. Try using RW-able media until you get this sorted, it'll cut down on wasted discs.
Another potential source of problems is your player/media compatibility. Use the link above, then search out "DVD Players" in the left navbar. Enter your player's make and model# in the textbox, then hit the go button.
If your media isn't the culprit, try creating an image file and burning from there. IMG Tools, and Daemon tools are two commonly used programs for the creation of "virtual" image files.
Wow, 20 straight burns with problems! Keep your sense of humor, there's a reason for everything, if one can only sort it out. :)
