Thanks in advance for reading my thread...
I'm actually authoring DVD's from VHS cassettes, on VERBATIM and PRINCO media (120 min. - 4,7 Gb)and every time I burn (1x) more then 70/75 minutes the video plays fine but when its gets nearly at the end it freezes getting completaly stuck or if I'm lucky plays very slowly jumping lots of frames....
these are the videos parameters rendered: mpeg 2 - res:720 x 576 - 25 fps - 6000 bps - data rate variable - fields order A
I've tried to play them on more than one table DVD player and it does the same on any of them.
I've got a Pioneer DVR-105 recorder and I've used DVD MOVIE FACTORY 2.0 LE as software.
Well I wouldn't mind if I couldn't sort this out, but I will be very happy if I Knew whose the fault is between the Recorder, the software or me......

Getting MAD
Bye Eddy

Welcome to Doom9's forum!

I don't have your answer, but would like for you to take another look at the Forum Rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm). Posting in two forums on the same topic is covered under Rule #8.

Run a search on "freeze", you'll find lots of information.

The fault is probably the media you are using, crap media have problems on the outer edge (the end of the movie) use something better
