Hello All,

first, thank you to all people developing all great tools here around and sharing their experiences here. I learned a lot here.

Well, I'm a ogm lover. Testing AAC, I used the version above. Great ! Two question:

1. Is it a stable version ? In my experience it works fine. Why the beta label ?

2. Is a AAC-SBR capable version planned ? I think many here and around would appreciate it. In the Audio encoding forum aac faq post I read it can only mux LC-AAC.

Hi Geza Anda,

I think Nic's OggMux is quite stable for everyday use. I think it's labeled beta because it was planned to include some other features but it wasn't finished by him up to now. Nic seems to be very busy with ReJig and his job the last months so only time can tell if we see an HE-AAC capable version. Up to then you can mux HE-AAC from the MP4 container via Graphedit.
