Funny thing... Sound suddenly disappeared in Win 98, what I use very little, mostly for capturing. Audio capturing works well, but by playback of AVI, Mpeg, VFW no audio. I have audio in games too.
I checked in Graphedit, and stated that A/V splitter has no audio output. Checked quarz.dll, installed again WMP7 and WMP9, DirectX 9, sound card drivers, Radium MP3 codec, but nothing helped.
I have audio in Crystal Player, which has own filters, A/V splitter too... What the hell could be this?
