I searched the forum and found nothing of this subject, but I was wondering if there was a way to change the associations of DS Filters with specific fourcc codes. For instance, if I have 3 mp3 audio codecs installed, is there a utility that allows me to change which one is used for decoding? Thanks ahead of time. :)

First, the easy way but it might not solve the problem.
Try setting the codecs priority in: - device manager - sound, video & game controlers - audio codecs
Second, the hard way: change registry keys:
Start - run - regedit - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT (find the extension) - change value.

Welcome to the forums, Dimpared :).
You could simply uninstall/unregister the two undesired decoders. However what you are trying to do sounds like changing the merit of the DirectShow filters. IIRC the Radlight Filter Manager (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67687) allows you to do this.

I apologize that I didn't get back to you sooner, as I've been out of town and very busy to say the least. RadLight looks like it was the answer I was looking for. Thank you very much! Also, thanks for the welcome to the board. :)
