anime filters!!! 4 nemo

This is my first attempt to anime encoding :)
I hv encoded nemo with lancoz, C3d =animeHQ, undot and. Somehow the colour of the movie is not as good as DVD, its dull.
CAn any share ur experience with animefilter used for nemo. I am
aming for 1 cd rip 576-XXX with Ogg 64k audio. Though i get good video rate 850kbps... still is see bluring when blown to full screen!

adding limiter will reduce the clour ???

finding nemo is entirely CG... you probably wont need any filters at all.

i'd say c3d is smearing your colours a little.

i'd get rid of all filters but undot (it never hurts IMHO). more filters wont really improve compressibility without sacrificing detail. a CG movie has a near-zero noise floor, so filters aren't really needed (the lanczos will reduce noise even further).

the only noise in finding nemo should be from the MPEG-2 compression applied to it, and with such a smooth source even that will be pretty low.

that said, i haven't actually seen this DVD.

[edit] oh yeah, and limiter is not required if you haven't changed the levels from the source. it is already (supposed to be) in the CCIR-601 range, so limiting again will do nothing useful

I don't know exactly, how to do so...
because I never needed it.
