Hi everybody,
I have a serious problem with this movie. I make a Movie Only backup and I have a very bad quality after encoding it. I don't understand why, I have blocky scenes. The movie makes 145 min. I don't have the same problem with The Patriot that makes 158 min. Do you think I have to split it on 2 DVD's or do I have to use an encoder like CCE instead a transcoder ?
Thx for advices.

I tested with ReJig and the quality is much better. I'm happy. I think I'll stay with it from now. Does ReJig re-encode the video ? I think yes because it creates temporarely m2v files. Isn't ?
Is there a solution to keep all the menus using ReJig ? Anyone know ?
Thx in advance.

ReJig is a transcoder.
So why is the quality such better than DVDShrink or Recode ? Does it use another routine ?

I don't know too much about the insides of both of them though. As for ReJig, I think these 2 threads should speak for themselves. Be prepared to do some homework on technical terms though as a lot of it over my head. There's lot of reading and information in these threads and you asked for it!
