hi

first of all, please forgive my english mistakes (I'm from spain)

There are some dvds that has the menus in 2 or more languagues. Usually when i put a dvd in my dvd it starts with spanish-menus but not always. I would like to know if there is anyway to "force" a determinate menu-language.

I usually use dvd-shrink and put no wanted menus in still-pictures in order to get more space for the movie-video, but if the dvd starts with one of these menus, i've got a problem

do you understand me ???

thanks

Clamatac Hi clamatac,

Could you try this guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67564) for me on your DVD? Though it's for Aspect Ratio Menu (widescreen or fullscreen), it should be almost the same concept for choosing languages. One thing to consider in the guide is that I asked for the user to search for a 2 button menu. I don't know how many language selections your startup menu has but I hope you can compensate. Let me know if you run into problems. ;) I don't have a DVD that has language start-up menus to test but I believe my guide will work out for you.
