Pixiedust in 2.5.3

Dear all,

When I try this...

aviSource("E:\test.avi")
ConvertToYUY2()
pixieDust().subtitle("P5")

(dust loaded via LoadPluginEx)


I get an access viol. in VDub (+VDubMod). I can open the file in WMP, and FairyDust works fine in VDubMod...

any help much appreciated.

Try to load LoadPluginEx, dust5V.dll from two different folders than the rest of the filters.

Did I get you correct:

The very same script works with FaeryDust, but chrashes VdubMod with PixieDust?

The Pixie-Script that crashes Vdub does work in WMP?

Hmm. Weird.

Your CPU?
Resolution of the clip? (try mod16 resolution!)
Version of VdubMod? (perhaps try v1.4.x also)
What happens without the subtitle command?

I have the same problem with VDMod.
When i use Pixiedust (load via Loadpluginex) i got this error
An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'ntdll'.

AMD 2200 XP
Win XP SP1 + hotfixes
1024 MB RAM

Sorry for delay in replaying. Replying, even.

None of the fixes listed worked - thanks for the suggestions, tho! - but I've kept experimenting... sometimes just playing the clip before trying to save it will fix the problem. Alternatively, saving a different clip beforehand sometimes works.

P4 with WinXP Pro; it was a mod 16 clip - and some other clips with same res, same compression (huffy) turned out to work fine. Particular frames seem to cause the prob. MAy try 1.4, but perseverance seems to work eventually! Thanks for the suggestions.
