I have a question regarding the best way to re-compile some material I have on DVD. I am a salamander biologist and I have shot alot of video footage over the years on several different formats. Awhile back I spent a large amount of time digitizing all of this material and creating detailed text that begins each video clip with all the important information about each specimen. This material is now on DVD and I am happy with the quality of the clips ect (I spent alot of time reading guides and threads here a year or so back so thanks to everyone!). My problem now is that over the years I worked on projects with a lot of different people and now that word has gotten out to my colleagues that I have DVD footage available of much of our work they would like copies. However the footage of interest to them is often dispersed over many disks and oftentimes the footage of interest to them per disk may be less than a minute long (most disks are about 2 hours). I would like to be able to remove the clips (I believe they are generally chapters in the disk structure) that are of interest to them from all of the different disks and then put them all on one disk for them. Is there a good way to do this? Is it possible to do this with out losing quality? I will appreciate any thoughts on this matter.

If the clips are in chapters I think I'd try this:

Using DVDShrink as a Cutter (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=57961#post348712)
DVDShrink will save each clip as a working DVD Structure which is of no avil right now. After all are saved use this
guide (http://www.dvdshrink.info/re-author-v3beta5-advanced.php)
for compiling or DVDLab or TMPENC DVD Author if you want menus.
