Best way to detinterlace?

If i have to deinterlace something, whats the best way to do it? (whilst ripping/encoding with GK)

It depends on your source. In Kgnot the simplest way is to check field deinterlace. But test it first to see if you like the results.

If you haven't already, I suggest you read this tutorial http://www.doom9.org/ivtc-tut.htm and the manual that comes with decomb.
