avi to dvd

hey i have about 7 GB of avi files theres about 150 of them. I was wondering how i could make them into a dvd and how many DVD's I would possibly need to fit them all on, thanks.
also is there anyway that I can improve the quality on them ??

Hello, DjTeK, and welcome to Doom9's forum. If you want them on for archive purposes but for playback on a PC, just use your DVD burner and create data discs.

If you want to convert them for playback on a DVD player, then you should follow one of the Conversion Guides (http://www.doom9.org/conversionguides.htm) that you can find on Doom9's website.You will not improve them converting from one lossy format to another.
