looking for freely downloadable vob trailers

Specifically, high action stuff (for instance Matrix Reloaded or Revolutions). It has to be something legit, not something that you can take off a DVD because the end goal is make re-encoded content available as part of a DVD-DivX player test.

But, to digress slightly, I've got some HD trailers/teasers I'm 99.99% sure I found at some official (that is, legit) www-site. I tried googling them up again, but I can't seem to find them now though. :/
They aired at last years Superbowl (Matrix Reloaded, Charlie's Angels 2 and T3 or something).

They are identical to the other freely available trailers/teasers, but in high res (720p maybe, my XP1600 can't render them properly), MPEG-2 and with DD audio. Pretty nice stuff. :)
IANAL, so I don't know how those works with copyright and all that.

I'm at my parents for the holidays, and my pc is like 500 miles away, so I can't be more specific. It's not what you asked for anyway, now is it? :stupid:

If you look at the thread I linked to you'll see that you can use MOV with DirectShowSource without converting into another compressed format.

Since most trailers around have a pretty good detail it wouldn't harm that much IMHO to use them instead of VOBs.

DVD use also compression, namely MPEG2. The Matrix Reloaded Trailer we have been using for your latest samples is a high bitrate, high quality 1000 x 540 res MOV sample, size is 100 MB for roughly 3 minutes. It can be looked at as better than DVD quality and should be the perfect source for a proper codec comparison .... but dont ask me about redistribution, i simply cant answer that. At least, nobody from Warner sent me an email to take them off our website yet ;) ....
