Hi, I'm new to authoring my own DVD menus and was hoping someone could help me out with some advice. I'm wanting to play a movie trailer on the main menu, have it switch to a still image for about 10 seconds, then play a second trailer followed by a still image, and then loop back to the first one. I want the trailer to take up about 2/3 the height of the screen and have buttons for "play movie", "chapters", and "bonus" underneath it and the spaces inbetween the objects to be part of a background picture.

I currently own Tmpgenc DVD author but I don't think it can do what I want. I don't even really care if I have to do it goofy like convert the still image into a 10 second video file that just repeats the same image 2997 frames.

My question: Is there another authoring software that can do all this for under $200?

Its not really an authoring problem - the Video needs to be prepared this way and then authored to the DVD menu.
Certain tasks of this nature can however be authored with DVDLab by using several menus joined together.
