what the heck is this thing.... i never got it with earlier versions... i just installed beta3 (beautifuly fast codec).... and when i start encoding... i get this xvid status window.... that can't go away... it has this green lil graph.... and some fun lil numbers.... can it help me?

XviD Configuration -> Advanced Options -> Debug -> Uncheck "Display Encoding Status".

maybe its a good idea to disable it by default, cause newbies will not find it usefull i guess...

anybody get this to work under FlaskMPEG? It just goes white and sits there for me....

This is because FlaskMPEG's encoding threat should process windows messages. You can't do anything about this from the end user point of view.

A nice idea for next releases.
Is it possible add an option to show the status screen only AT THE END of the encode?
I find it very useful, but I don't want to spend precious CPU clocks for real time adjusting the graphs; instead it should be nice to see it when encode has finished, just to see the quant graph.
