Moire patter in capture with ADVC 100

I'm trying to capture a video tape to my hard drive using an ADVC 100. It captures the video, but there is a distinct moire pattern that appears in everything. I can use filters to remove it, but then my video loses definition.

Does anyone have experience with this? Any help is appreciated
