You know, the film track and a commentary track?
Both are tracks are english, so I'm wondering if DVD2SVCD could detect this and include the right tracks?
I'm thinking that in the conversion tab, selecting the film track as #1 will be on the left speaker and selecting the commentary track as #2 will be on the right speaker, but I'm not sure? What do I do in the audio tab?

Yes you can encode 2 english tracks.
If you are using SVCD as your output format (it helps if you tell us such things!) you can have 2 stereo audio streams and pick which one to listen to at any time.
VCD only allows for one stereo or 2 mono streams. Presuming SVCD try the info below
In the audio tab, check the audio 2 priority 1 box and set the language to English. Set the bitrate for the second audio stream.
In the bitrate tab, adjust Max bitrate for the video.
Audio1 bitrate + Audio2 bitrate + max video bitrate <= 2756
ie the total bitrate of video and both audio must be less than 2756 at all times to fit in with SVCD specs.
Then set Max Avg to 300 less than Max.
Go to the conversion tab and select your IFO (ie hit the disc button or the folder button). The first (ie main) audio track is most likely selected for you as Audio index 1.
Click under Audio Index on the second track you wish to add and set it to 2. The checkbox to the left should now be ticked.
Off you go.
The resulting conversion should give you an SVCD with two English Language stereo audio tracks.

I'm doing VCD as my dvd player doesn't support SVCDs.

Sorry if I break into your discussion, but I have a similar problem. I have ripped a DVD, and want to have two audio streams, english and german. I have selected the streams and have checked the audio priority settings just like Nick explained. What I did not do is to adjust the bitrate.
Now, the outcome of this is a CD (with higher bitrate (2914)) which plays perfectly fine on my software player, but with both audio stream called as "audio0". My elecard player is able to use both of them anyhow, but a powerDVD player is not.
Do you know what's going wrong here?
TIA
Richard

Hi Richard.J
Are you using SVCD?
In my powerDVD I do not have any problems with two audio tracks. Mine is not the last version (PowerDVD XP 2.55), but audio track selection is not in the "usual" place (right click on the player screen as in DVDs). I have to click in an icon of the player (more of less in the middle)

Yes, I am using SVCD.
PowerDVD has no problem with multiple audio streams as long as they do not have the same name, say "audio 0" and "audio 1".
If the streams have the same name, PowerDVD is not able to change the stream. My problem is, why do the streams have the same name when I produce a SVCD from my DVD using 2 streams?
