For those who have a LiteON 411s or 811s (with latest firmware), look at these :)
Changing the booktype will result in better playback of DVD discs and it sets a bit on the disc that makes the DVD player think it reads a DVD-ROM disc. The Lite-On utility seems for now only to work on DVD+R discs and not on DVD+RW. Besides this, there is now also a patch available to make your Lite-On DVD recorder regio free and also an updated version KProbe is available.
