Capturing copyguarded VHS?

I want to transfer one of my VHS movies to VCD or DVD before it falls apart. I'm using virtual dub and an ATI All In Wonder card. The movie is copyguarded so all i get is a squigley picture. I use to have an external copyguard eliminator but I sold it a long time ago. Is there a way I can transfer this without having to buy anything?
