thanks in advance for helping
ok heres the prob i just got my dvd rw and i want to copy avi files to a dvd and make them watchable on my dvd player
i have this software
TMPGEnc
TMPGEnc dvd author

can you plz tell me what settings i need or do i need other software ? thanks :D

Hello, ants47, and welcome to Doom9's forum.

One of Doom9's many guides may be what you are looking for. This one (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd-avi.htm) is for AVI->DVD using DVD2SVCD, which can use TMPGEnc as it's MPEG-2 encoder.
