First question, please use small words when replying.

I haven't found any reference to this particular problem after searching the forum already.

Got the 6.7 gig dvd image stripped. I feed it to DVD fab(the last free version.) It makes the 2 disk folders.

I burn the contents of disk 1 and it works perfectly in any player i feed it to.

I/ve tried 5 times to get the disk 2 folder to work, and it wont work in anything, pc or otherwise. Any thoughts? I'm running low on blanks and can't afford to keep experimenting on my own.

I don't really have much to suggest, except that you definitely shouldn't burn it if you can't get it to work on your PC. A disk that works on your PC may not work on your stand-alone, but the corollary is never true; if it doesn't work in a PC player, it'll never work in a stand-alone.

I've seen several posts here where DVDFab simply cannot be made to work for a particular DVD. The disk you're working with may fall into that category.

fair enough. I'm not pressed by time or space, working with a .5tb array...

Okay, i'm looking at DVD shrink. Its not making sense at a glance to me yet. . .

And the link on the DVD Shrink website to its user guide on doom9 is broken. Has it been moved or can someone give me another guide link?

Not sure about the link from the DVDShrink web site. I was under the impression that doom9 has anti-leach measures in place; perhaps that is making the link appear to fail. Just go to doom9's front page and link into the guides from there - the DVDShrink guide isn't hard to find (GUIDES->DVD/Mini DVD->DVD Backup Guides->DVDShrink).

I might also recommend the guides at www.dvdshrink.info (compliments of ddlooping).
