I have a really strange problem !
But let's begin with the begining...

When I'm making a DVD backup (a movie), the resulted DVD (even if I use SONY DVD+RW, MEMOREX DVD-R or TRAXDATA DVD-R) seems to freeze from time to time in my stand-alone player...
Someone told me to try burning the DVD at 1x speed... But I have one problem !
I'm trying to make the DVD with the structure already built on my HDD, but, unfortunately, I can't burn my SONY DVD+RW at 1x... The software is forcing me to burn at 2,4x (maximum speed), even if I use NERO 6, NERO 5.5.10.20, TEMPEnc DVD Author...
What should I do ?!

I have a SONY DRU-500A burner, a P4 2,4Ghz, 512 DDRAM...

THANKS A LOT !

Use better media.

No drive currently supports dvd+ at 1x

By the way... there is media better than SONY ?

Thanks...
