Hi all,

Thanks for the great forum. :)

I am looking for an authoring tool with the following features:
1. Chaptering, if possible read from a file
2. Multiple Audio tracks (At least two).
3. Multiple subtitle tracks (At least two).

I don't care about menu capabilities or anything else. Of course Free is the best, if not, I would appreciate a tool I can test during a trial so I don't have to buy it to test it ;-)

I have already tested two tools out there:
1. IfoEdit. That is the perfect tool for the job, if you have a NTSC-Video or PAL DVD. If you have a NTSC-Film DVD, it mess up the navigation controls and as soon as you press >>, <<, >>| or |<< on your remote, the picture freezes and nothing works anymore. Too bad, NTSC-Film is my main target :(.
2. TMPGEnc DVD Author. Great tool but one audio track and no subtitles.

Any suggestions for me?

Thanks in advance

DVD Lab. It has a 30 day trial too.

The official site says it doesn't do multiple subs and audio but there is a workaround for this. This is because DVD Lab lets you import the VOB(s) without demultiplexing them so your multiple streams are still intact. ;)

You can also read here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61173&highlight=dvd+lab+multiple) for guidance.

Well, thanks 2COOL. I am confused though ... How do I generate my VOBS with multiple audio and subs? Isn't that the purpose of an authoring tool?

My problem is: How do I burn a DVD made of the various things I have:
1. an m2v file
2. one or more ac3/mpa/wav/dts file
3. One or more srt/sup/sub file

Sorry if I have been unclear in my original post...
