Hey, I backed up a couple of movies, and they work perfectly on my computer and any other computer i try, but when i try and watch them on my ps2 or any dvd player they dont work. Any suggestions? im using ritek media and ripped them with DVD decrypter, edited them with IFOedit and then burnt them with nero. thanks

I assume they won't play at all? How old is the DVD player? Some older DVD players will not play DVD-Rs. My XBox and my original Sony DVD Player will not play DVD-Rs I create, but 2 newer Sonys will.

The link www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers will provide you with a make/model database of players and their capabilities.
A better subject than "having trouble" would probably have gotten you a faster, perhaps even better response. See Rule 9 (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm) for details.

You don't say which version of Nero you are using either.
Older versions produce discs that won't play in some standalones (ones that are supposed to play DVD-R that is)

Were you able to arrive at any conclusions as to why your initial attempt failed to produce files that your standalone would recognize? You state that your problem is sorted, but I'm still in the dark as to exactly what your problem was. An explanation could be useful to someone that encounters your same set of circumstances in the future.
As jggimi suggested, you can edit your thread's subject by clicking the edit button located in the lower right corner of your first post in this thread. Edit the title to more closely reflect the subject at hand, then click on "Save changes" at the bottom of that screen. No problem!
