Never before happend something like this while encoding with CCE 2.50.
I started encoding video file about 2 hours long and it crashed.
My system setup is:
1st hard drive seagate 2MB cache 60 GB(master)splited 10GB for OS the rest for whatever.
2nd hard drive seagate 8MB cache 120 GB for the final encodes.
AMD Athlon XP 2800+ Barton Core (non overclocked)
Motherboard A7N8X Deluxe rev.2.0 BIOS 1007
1.5 GB RAM KingMax DDR 2700 (all three modules) (non overclocked)
GeForce 4 Ti4400 128MB
The system did 5 days Prime95,3 days memtest,25 times Burn Test SiSoftSandra...
So what happens is, if the source it's on the 1st HD & the final encoded file on the 2nd HD CCE 2.50 CRASHES.?
If the source is on the 2nd & final encoded file on 1st NO PROBS.
I always do AVIsynth filtering & frameserving (with AddAudio()),but this never happend to me before.
It may be the difference in the HD's cache?
As soon I finish with the encoding, I'll do reinstall & put 120 GB HD as 1st(master) just to see if it's gonna make any difference.
I just wanted to share my experiences & if someone has the same probs this workaround resolved my problems.
Hope this will help someone.
