CCE will fail 90% of the time on the last frame of an encode when an AVI clip has been imported directly. If I take the same clip and frameserve it from VirtualDub to CCE and import it it will encode without any problems. Any ideas as to why?
All clips were originaly captured from digital cable via VirtualDub using Huffyuv/PCM. Attempting to encode to D1 in CCE. I have tried all video encode modes (CBR/VBR), with/without audio, different bitrates and numerous video settings. All this is being performed on a Win2000Pro, Athlon1.8XP system.
It's really not much of an inconvenience to frameserve (unless there is a performance loss) but I do remain curious as to the reason for this sort of failure.
