Normalizing within VirtualDub?

What I'm looking for is the ability to normalize audio while direct streaming video through one of the variants of VirtualDub. I see there was a theread about a year ago entertaining this question but it seemed to hit a dead end. Is there now a version capable of this, maybe implimented due to that thread?
