I'm looking for some burning software that is very easy to use. (Yes - it's for my mom - holidays at the family always brings such small nice jobs ;) ).

Anyway - it must be:

1) Easy to use.
2) Able to burn files from the harddisk.
3) Easy to use.
4) Able to copy an audio CD. (I have explained to her "Strictly legal material" of course :) )
6) Available in danish.
7) Easy to use.

You get the idea. I personally used Ahead Nero - but that's not really her level, so I think I'd put something more user friendly on her machine. (Somethink that tells her that she actually has to put in a blank CD for instance).

Windows XP - some cheap DVD/CDROM/CD-R combo drive. Freeware would be nice, but I might spend a few bucks on good software. (Also note, it is easier to learn her the built-in functionality of XP).

Any recommendations?

Nero Express is pretty easy and straightforward to use.
It installs with Nero (at least in Version 5.x, I don't know about Version 6 yet) and has an easy step by step interface that won't let you do anything wrong.

I guess you never used it (me neither, but my father did :)) but it should be right there in the Nero programs folder

I'm also using Nero6...

But I'm still looking for a "simple" VOB to Video-DVD burning tool for my Dad...

Some suggestions ???

Thanks in advace...

Nero would be the one ... maybe give her some lessons man. Otherwise she might as well uses the build in CD writing software of WinXP. There is also a ISO plugin that will allow you to make images of CD's ... I think.

As I said before - no lessons needed for Nero Express. I can't imagine any burning GUI could be easier than that!
